Lalah Hathaway, celebrated for her five Grammy Awards, is gearing up for a significant return with her new album, “VANTABLACK,” and a national tour that kicks off in August. This marks her eighth studio album and her first since “Honestly” in 2017. The album, consisting of 16 tracks, features collaborations with artists such as Common, Rapsody, MC Lyte, Michael McDonald, and Willow. It has already seen the release of two singles: the upbeat “So in Love” and the newest track, “I Am.” The album is released through Hathaway’s own Hathaway Entertainment, in partnership with SRG-ILS Group (Virgin Music Group).

The VANTABLACK tour will cover 17 dates, starting in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on August 28.
